Hair dryers

Before the observing season has started here in Sweden, I'm trying to find a battery operated hair dryer, ideally a compact "toy" dryer on AA batteries. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Dmitri,

Can't point you to anything specific for Sweden, but try an auto accessory store for a 12V hair dryer with a car lighter plug.

I use the 12 volt hair dryer and a 17 AH battery pack which I purchased from an auto parts department. It has an air compressor, light, jumper cables and a 12 volt outlet. It's very popular at star parties grin

I think you will need a larger battery as others have pointed out.
