I recently purchased a new C-8 w/XLT coatings. I was able to get out tonight for a first test. Looking at Saturn or a star I get a circular white glow around the object being viewed. It is not a ring but more like a large glowing disk that washes out some detail while viewing Saturn. I checked collimation and it was a little off so I corrected it. It did not make a difference. Does anyone know what this light glow is covering the majority of the center of my field of view?

It could be moisture in the air that causes a halo. But if it is in the optical train, then it sounds like scatter.
Could be the diagonal or something on the corrector plate. Being a new scope, this does not sound likely.

Were you using a diagonal? Happened to me one and turned out to be the less than premium (and dusty) diagonal. Try viewing thru the scope with and without the diagonal to see if that impacts the halo/scatter. Make sure the eyepiece you are using also does not show the same issue thru another scope to eliminate the EP being the cause.
