Help: Starlight xpress USB2 installing

Help: I have a used starlight usb2 no info no drivers and went to oem site and download everything they have all drivers, manual, but no clue to make it all work, the basic info and instructions not enough to make it work on my laptop usb win7 only, have all adapters cables etc... but no instruction at all and its defently not plug and play thats for sure. Its asking for a driver and cant find it on computer(already downloaded everywhere that I can put on the computer and still it cant find it???)or even online??? and it cant find it online what??? HELP no clue here!!! Did see somewhere that its says it may need make a copy? what? I right click copy but nothing happen???
Im not a computer wiz here, it all should be just plug in play, not 1000's of jumps and hoops and $$$ to make it work. Any info would be great and I'll bet that someone went through this before LOL!

Progress! I was able to load the drivers on my shop computer with vista os no problems it install and its says working properly and I will try it again tonight on my laptop win7 os and now I know USB2 is working! but will try a ccd software soon. Too many projects going like usally its fun.
