Identify/date this finder??? (maybe 1968)

This finder "made in Japan" was on my recently acquired Optical Craftsmen 1968 vintage. To me it looks more recent than 1968--Optical Craftsmen's finders were, I think, black and white.

But I'm not sure. This is a very nice finder with rear focus which you don't see every day. Seems more similar to my Tak finder than anything else. But it's not illuminated.

I did check the objective but didn't see a name. I will try looking more closely.

were products sometimes marketed here just as "made in Japan"?

For the heck of it I'm also posting a pic of the entire OTA/mount into which I will put an OMI mirror because the original one was pretty awful.

Finder looks identical to this ad for an 8"
Optical Craftsman from the early 70's
-- though this one has a white tube:

Also similar to many in this OC 1964 catalog -- again
except the catalog ones are white. See the
"Connoisseur" series of scopes near the middle of the catalog.
Also the 8x50 finder ad on the last page.
