Improving Chinese Binocs

I have a pair of Chinese 25 X 100 binocs and would like to modify them to accept standard 1.25" eyepieces. Has anyone here ever done that?

Yes, I know I could spend $1500 and just BUY a pair, but that's not an option I can afford at the moment. Thanks!

My one attempt at this did not go very well. The problem
was lack of "back focus" in the binos. The original
eyepieces had the focal plane right at the bottom edge
of the eyepiece, where as most 1.25" eyepieces have the
focal plane near the "seat" where the 1.25" barrel transitions
to the wider body of the eyepiece. This eliminates 99%
of eyepieces. Sometimes you can find one where the
focal plane is at the bottom (old Galoc 16.3mm or similar
28mm Orthos -- very hard to find), or where the 1.25"
barrel can be removed leaving something still usable.
