FYI, www.SiriusAstroProducts.com is now selling direct since Meridian Telescopes went out of business. I just got some of their red cling for my ipad. Really works nice, after I dimmed down the screen a bit.

For my laptop I went with Neutral Density filter material from All Pro Sound (Florida based company). They sell film. I layered 2 pieces of 3 stop (.9) Lee filter material. I can run the brightness up from its lowest setting so the text comes out cleaner without illuminating the entire field.
Some astronomers see things as they are and say WOW!
Some astronomers see things that were never really there and say it's AVERTED VISION.
