Hello all, has anyone seen this paint STILL available in the stores, or has Krylon discontinued it? All that I find on the shelves now is "regular" Krylon flat black spray. Don't really know what the difference is, but for home made optical projects, I always appreciated the light absorbing properties of the "ultra" flat black. I've used this paint many-a-times for a lot of projects and I'll be disapointed if it's been discontinued - D'OH! Dave Sewell

Sherwin-Williams has rattle-cans of industrial dead flat black lacquer; they have gallons of solvent base flat black sealer and flat black lacquer which are quite, ah, black.
Useful trick: whatever paint you use, after applying and before it dries, wipe it gently with your hand. It will take any residual reflectivity away.

Hi Dave,
The Krylon Ultra Flat Camoulflage spray is still available. I got some at AutoZone, auto parts place around here (Delaware).
You mentioned that you've used this in the past. How did you use it? As a spray? If as spray, for large area? How did you apply inside of a tube?. Or,,did you use it in a cup as liquid brush-on for touch ups?
Thanks,
Bruce
