LASER COLLIMATOR

I AM LOOKING INTO THE NEW HOTECH LASER COLLIMATOR
THEY MAKE A 1 1/4 MODEL AND A 2" MODEL
IS THERE ANY ADVANTAGE TO GETTING THE 2" OVER
THE 1 1/4??

I use the 2" Hotech because I have a 2" focuser and a 2" binoviewer nosepiece. If you are using primarily 1.25" EP's you are still subject to the off center effect of your 1.25" adapter so I suppose the 1.25" Hotech would be more appropriate. If you do a lot of low power wide field 2" EP work then go with the 2" Hotech.
