Hello,
I am new to the forum, and I would like to find some information on Lomo Mak-Newt scopes. Specifically, I would like to know if anyone has experience with the Lomo 203mm (8 inch) Mak-Newt. My impression is that this is a very well-built scope (like most Lomo's) that is superior for astrophotography. Right now, I have an Intes MN56 and I would like to upgrade. I've used a Lomo 6" Mak-Cass and the optics were outstanding. Thus, I assume that the astrosital mirror of the 8" mak-newt should give great views as well.
I cannot find any reviews of any Lomo Mak-Newt scopes, with the exception of the MN102. If anyone has any information about the Lomo 8", in particular how it might compare to the Intes line of Mak-Newts, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Nick
