Looking for LARGE finderscope. Recommendations?

I am looking for a large finder scope. I know there is the Lumicon 80mm out there. There is also the Tak 11x70 model. Does anyone have any experience with the two above or any other recommendations. I am looking for something bigger than the standard 50mm garden variety.

Hi Paul, I know this may sound unusual, but I use a 6" F8 Skywatcher refractor (Celestron, ect) as a finder. It works great. I use a 2" TeleVue 40mm wide field eyepiece, and find that I can actually 'see' those faint fuzzies that escape smaller finders.
And you can find one for around $300 used including mounting rings. Best finder I've ever used, bar none.

I use a Short Tube 80 with a 26 mm ep as my finder. It's mounted on my EQ mounted 10" SCT. I use it in conjunction with a Telrad. I use the ST80 for starhopping. I put together a piggyback mount for $25. Here's a link to my webpage showing the mount:
