Looking for telescope parts

Hi. Recently our astronomy club has obtained a few donated telescopes. Got most of them working, but I still need the following items:

1.25" Newtonian Focuser, 3" high
6x30 finder, to fit standard t-rings
any finder, to fit 2" wide t-rings
German Equatorial R.A. counterweight, 1.5" wide shaft

I can't spend big bucks, so I'm looking for used equipment. If anyone has any of these items, or can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it...Dennis

Hi Dennis,

There is usually plenty of these items in the "filters, finders, misc" classifieds. You could also check under "Mounts" and "Telescope making".

Failing these (does AstroMart EVER fail!!! :-)) I have had good dealing with Bill Vorce of "Telescope Warehouse"

Cheers,

Maurice
