LX200 Classic memory battery question.

I just bought a 10" LX200 Classic last week and I am having an issue with the memory. Every time the scope is shut off, the time and date resets itself. I replaced the battery last night and reprogrammed everything yet it still resets after being shut off and unplugged for more than a few minutes. Any ideas on what could cause this? I have searched the MAPUG and have found nothing there either.

Hi Brian,
Did you make sure the new battery was up to voltage? Sometimes new ones have been on the shelf too long.
