I see that Anacortes has 3 Mars specialty filters, one form Sirius and 2 different from Televue. These are supposedly better for Mars than the usual filters. Has anyone tried any of these? Impressions?

Hi Steve -

I haven't tried them, but I have been using the Baader contrast booster filter, which I believe has similar properties to the Sirius Mars filter.

I already prefer the contrast booster over any of my color filters for Mars observing.
