Hi,

I am looking to finally upgrade from my old Meade 390.

I am looking at the Meade 8" LX90. Does anyone own this or have any comments about it?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

A great telescope!

Same optics as lx200 series. If you plan on doing astrophotography though, you may have to upgrade at some point in the future.

I owned one and upgraded to Nexstar 11GPS with XLT. I was never disappointed in the LX90 and if I was looking for a SCT in that price range, I would buy it again.

My $.02.

Clear skies,
Brock
