Anyone ever try one of these as a guide scope? I can buy one new for $45 and was considering it for this purpose.

I had one and the images were pretty bad. Reflections all over the field of view. Objects on the left side of the field would have a twin on the right. Could have been a bad one, but there are no lens cell adjustments.Very poor plastic focuser. Need I go on?
