I have an unusual situation. Twelve years, I loaned a Meade RCX400 14” to an observatory with the provision that when they no longer use it. Return it, and they have. Twelve years ago I could pick it up, no longer. It has the ACF optics and UHTC coatings. The optics were sealed and in excellent shape. Electronics work. The rest show the usual wear.
What do I do?
Do I sell it as is? Do I spruce it up Do I defork it or do I part it out?
I appreciate your advice.
