This question has been posted in the Meade Forum, but no one has been able to produce a definite answer thus far. Does anyone know what Meade is planning on right now? If you check the website, it says it will introduce the biggest advancement in telescopes since the lx200's. Just wond. Thanks.

My guess is a new GPS model that sets itself up on site (no hands).
For an extra $495. you can option for an owner's manual that claims to be complete, a plastic do-it-yourself tool kit, a box of spare parts that don't work, plus access to a new customer service hotline manned by the "no" guy in the Capital One ads. But then, I am biased.
