Mystery Scope

Hi!

I came across a scope which I could not identify, I was told it is a 125mm f/10 Cassegrain sold by Tasco, but it is not labelled with any brand. I was also told it has a 1.5x (or 2.0x) corrector/converter in the drawtube. I do not know if it is f/10 with or without the converter. If anybody has an idea who produced this scope I would be very interested to hear!

with best regards

Philipp Salzgeber

Freakshow. I don't know who made this but I'm guessing f/10 with the converter, that would make sense of the nonsensically large central obstruction as it would imply that the mirror system is designed to f/5-f/7.

A very strange-looking beast.

Is it perhaps a Klevtsov-Cassegrain design?
