Several years ago I bought a ngc-max setting circle kit.One of the encoders went bad and I replaced it with a Us Digital encoder. The cable that I made recently came apart and now I cant seem to find the pinout with coresponding wire color for the 4 wires from the max unit. The pinout for the Us Digital is black-ground,green-index.yellow-A channel,pink-6vpower,brown-b channel. Does anyone know the proper wire to wire color combination for the max? Jonathan

I don't know the answer to your question but i beleive that the NGC Max is manufactured by Wildcard Innovations (makers of Argo navis)...you could drop Gary K (the owner) and e-mail and with the time difference between here and Australia (Wildcard is and Aussie company) you might even have an answer by the morning.

Cheers

Bing 'ngc-max encoder pinout'. Look for a pdf file from jmitelescopes.com. It should be in the first few hits.

Info you need is on page 1.
