If so, here's a handy accessory to end your worry and eliminate the admittedly small chance you'll be abducted.

Indeed, I have been wearing one for the past 12 years. Works good too, never had an alien from outer space even approach me

(The one photo of the fellow working at the bench reminds me of Ted Kennedy..

Where I do much of my dark sky observing there is a real chance of encountering aliens and even being abducted by aliens. Typically though the aliens passing through do their best to avoid detection, traveling by night. The only time they make contact is if they are lost or need water and food due to the long walk across the border.
Generally they play a cat and mouse game with the U.S. Immigration Authorities but when a heat wave strikes or the rare heavy snow threatens the groups of migrants, the Border Patrol switches into the emergency rescue mode to save their lives.
It is a strange and wonderful country we live in, one where the Border Patrol risks their lives keeping these aliens out and yet at a moments notice will risk their lives saving the very people they were chasing.
When driving in the back country along the more traveled routes, one often spots a flag on top of tall fiber glass pole bending in the wind, there maybe one every mile or so. At the bottom is of each is a large plastic trash can filled with one gallon jugs of water.
It is a strange world we live in, much of the manual labor in this country depends on is performed by these migrants and yet they must risk their lives and rely on the good will of locals to make the journey.
Probably off topic and it may get deleted but that is the strange and wonderful the world I live in.
