I have an Orion EQ-3M GEM with play, or slop, in the declination axis when locked. When locked, I can still rotate the declination axis back and forth - about an eighth of an inch to either side. The right ascension axis is fine and has absolutely no play/slop. How can I remove the play/slop in the declination axis?
