If you had a spare SUV (Ford Explorer) to modify at will for astronomy and/or star party attendence, what would you do?

I have several telescopes, but none are semi-APO, APO, or in anyway valuable.

Don't worry. It's already been replaced by more efficient vehicles. wink

It seems like we are all on the same page on this one... When Shneor can fit a 22 inch DOB in a Mazda 323, an Explorer seems unnecessary...

Of course, "I should talk" my "Astro-Mobile" is a 26ft 1986 Motorhome and it does the job for long trips to remote places. For one nighters to the mountains, its a 4cylinder car and for work, its a bicycle...
