Polar Alignment Software Help....

I recently "discovered" PoleAlignMax to help me get a good polar alignment with my GM8. Last night, I used ACP to build a 30-point pointing of my mount, then downloaded the 30-day trial of MaxPoint to analyze the results. PoleAlignMax had reported an alignment error of less than 1 arc-minute after two rounds of adjustment. MaxPoint says different; it says 6 arc-minutes in altitude, and 11+ arc-minutes in azimuth. What MaxPoint seems to be missing is some cool way of helping me to adjust the alignment like PoleAlignMax does. If I use the GM8's Gemini to build my model (way slow compared to ACP's automation), then it will help me align similar to what PoleAlignMax does, just asking me to center a star in the view.

So...the question is, does anyone know of a tool that analyze MaxPoint compatible (or TPOINT compatible) data files and help me align the mount? Or is there some simple way of doing this with what I already have?
