Living in Northern California, dew and fogging are much less of a problem than many of you all elsewhere have to contend with. Other than a worst nights of the year a standard dew shield is all I have really needed for the objective end of the scopes.

However, during the winter months my eyepieces have some problems from the heat coming off of my face. The product sounds interesting as a possible soultion to this problem.

What do you all think? I have all the same concerns as have already been expressed, but am considering giving it a try on some of my less expensive eyepieces (e.g. 9mm UO Ortho, 26mm Meade 4000 Plossel). Am I nuts?

Might be worth a try on cheap eyepieces.
The cleaning / wiping for each new application
worries me on $$ optics -- increases potential for
scratches. If one application lasts many observing
sessions, I might worry less.
