I'm wondering if it's ok to use my DMD-3 controller with only one MT-1 motor, as RA only. My dual motor/axis system came with a six C cell battery pack, not the eight D cell. Also, this is the eight pin system.
It seems as though this should be all right to do since, unlike the later DD-1 controller, the dec chords were not built-in on the DMD series (to me, implying that they could be used as RA alone?). My main concern is that I'm not going to fry the motor with the use of only the RA.
