I have a set of older vixen/orion tube 90mm rings with a baked black finsh.

I can buy new white rings for anound 70.00 or I could paint these white? what would be the best paint brand? and would this work ok?
I know this is more of a silly thing but I Like white rings better

What I know, the public does not approve, and what is approved, I know to be error.

Tim, check your yellow pages for a place that does powder coating. I recently had the tube and dew shield for my 5" refractor stripped and powder coated black for 40.00. Since these are very small parts as far as powder coaters are concerned, they can throw them in with another job of the same color and give you a price break. Black and white are very popular colors so it should not take more than a few days to get done.
