Scope Case-a little protection needed

I was wondering if there was someway I could provide a little protection for my DGM optics OA-4.0 telescope. For me at least the scope is a little long and unwieldy and I want to find some way to protect it with maybe a soft case or something, from dings and bumps in case I want to transport it in my car (or simply avoid damage if I accidently swing it against the door trying to get it out of the house). I was thinking maybe a tripod soft case or something, as I don't want to spend a fortune on a case to protect the 42" telescope. Any help would be appreciated.
