ture story;
I was out late one night last week. my first trip out of the backyard with the LX200.
when I packed up to go home I put my astrozap dew shield on the front seat on my truck. after I loaded the scope in the back I called my dog and opened the door to let her in the truck. Well 70 lbs of frozen chow/bulldog went flying in the truck and crunch when the dew shield. of coarse the dog looked at me like it was my fault LOL.
the dew shield split next to the velcro the whole lenght of the shield. I emailed Joe at astrozap to ask if he knew of a way to repair it. he replied no, it can't be repaired.
but then to my surprize he offered to replace it!!!!!!!!
This is service that is above and beyond the call of duty.
ASTROZAP RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had something similar happen last winter. Well, actually there was no dog or truck involved, but on a not-too-chilly winter night (barely below freezing) my Astrozap shield also split next to the velcro when I loosely rolled it at the end of my observing session prior to returning it to its mailing box for storage. I emailed Joe on repair options, and he instead replaced it for no charge.

This is the kind of customer service that gets my repeat business.

Next time let the dog have a look through the scope, or maybe let it lick off the dew on the corrector, and you will be treated with more respect!!
Was a nice touch on the part of the vendor though.
