Size of collimator, 2" or 1.25"

Probably insignificant but if six of my seven eyepieces are 1.25" and the lone 2" EP is a 35mm Panoptic, would a 1.25" laser collimator be the best choice versus a 2" collimator?

I'm not sure anyone uses 2" EPs exclusively so I'm not sure why the lasers come in both sizes.

It is really a question of registration of the laser in the adapter.

But... really there is only one answer to any laser collimator question:

Howie Glatter...
