Hi, what are the primarily differences between these two forms of solar filters? If I purchased a visual filter and used it for solar photography, am I loosing anything significant compared to buying a dedicated filter for photography? Thanks,
Ivan

No you will not be losing anything. You will have to take slightly longer exposures though. The only difference between the two is the density of the coating on the filter. smile
