Anyone out there ever take a Feather Touch Focuser apart for a Meade 10" SCT LX200? Got one with a bent shaft that needs to be straightened but can't get the thing apart. May just be the bent shaft hanging me up but would like to know more about it before I ruin it.

Jerry, I had a problem with a Feathertouch focuser on a Celestron C-14 a few years back. I sent it to Feathertouch and let them take care of it. They didn't charge me a dime and the turn around time was very fast, a little over a week as I recall. It may be best just to send the focuser to them.
