Stellarvue F1001 Red Dot Finder battery life?

Hi,

I'm using a Stellarvue Red Dot Finder on a theatrical follow spot to target performers before the spot comes on.

Can anyone tell me roughly how long it will run with a fresh battery?

Thanks!

Rick

Just heard back from Stellarvue:

"The battery usually lasts people at least a year. That is using it 1-2 hours a night for up to 100-150 nights a year".

It will last a long time as long as you remember to turn it off after a session. But I have forgotten to turn it off on occasion and have found the batteries dead after a few days or a week.
