TeleVue 102/which mount to buy

Dear Sirs, I am planning to buy a TV 102 and don`t know which mount. I am writing from Vienna/Austria/Europe and a Losmandy G8 with Goto costs about 5.500,--bucks here. Or a
GP-DX with SkySensor and Tripod about 3.500,-- bucks. Can anybody recommend a mount which you can use also for ccd ?

hi,

i have a Televue Genesis SDF on a Losmandy G8 (non goto) and it works well for visual and ccd imaging. I have no experience with the Vixen..but have read that it also is a very good mount for a 4" scope both visually and for ccd imaging.

If I was going to spend that much for a G8 .. I would consider getting a G11 for the additional fractional increase in cost. It's a mount you can grow with if you ever want to get a larger OTA.
