I've got a problem where my Celeston 2" diagonal won't thread onto the adapter of my JMI focuser. However, the diagonal easily threads onto the GPS 11 Scope itself and I have other pieces that work with all of these pieces! For instance, I have an adapter ring that easily screws onto the scope and onto the JMI adapter (which is what the diagonal should do -but the diagonal only screws onto the scope!).
The diagonal will only screw on about a quarter turn and then freezes. I've cleaned threads and looked for any obvious problems with the beginning of the threading on both sides.
Any quick ideas before I have to have someone run taps over the pieces?
