I currently own a 12.5" truss dob that I use at home and I am looking for an airline portable scope/mount(carryon) that I can take with me out west this fall. I am looking to keep the total price for scope and mount under $1,000. Refractor is preferable for wide field and fast cooldown. I welcome your recommendations.

SV AT1010 - got one, like it. Get a 2" ep, 34 - 40 mm.
