Weights ( how much)

I have a CI700 mount. I have put a C8 on the mount for now.
I will be putting on a ST237 camera also. The mount used when I got it, came with two 25# weights.
It this point I can not balance the scope due to the 25# being to much.
I don't know what weight to get. I sure could use some help with this ,so that I can start using the scope.

Tie a cloth bag (or a large sock) to where the weight would go and fill with sand. When you're balanced, weigh the bag. Be sure to keep the sand out of your eyepiece case ;-)
