I am thinking about selling my telescope and stuff. I don't want to but so rarely get to use it. I have been off this site for a while and want to see what it would be worth. I am really not interested in parting it out, but here is what I have: Meade LX90 with UHTC coatings. the tripod is not meade but pretty sturdy, a meade mount with clock drive and a motor for the RA. I have that meade eyepiece kit that they sold a few years ago with the hard case. I think it is 6 3000 series eyepieces, I have a UHC filter, an off axis guider a cordless illuminated reticule ep. A foam padded carry trunck for the scope. and a couple other this and thats. I know this is a pretty rough description but does it give an idea of value?

Bob,

What size scope? If it's an 8", you are probably somewhere in the $800 range, plus or minus. Check out the Telescope-Catadioptric section of the clssifieds:

You would probably do better to sell the padded trunk and the iluuminated guiding eyepiece separately; by themselves they are valuable accessories, but with the scope you will end up basically giving them away.

Hope this helps,

Tim
