Where are the new Nagler eyepieces made Japan or Taiwan? Thank You.

My old Naglers (older type II's and I's from the late 80's and early 90's) were etched with "Japan" on the side whereas my newer ones, at least those that I have looked at, have "Taiwan" etched on them. Although I have not looked at my latest acquisitions (31 T5, and type 4's)...

Currently, Type 4 and 5 Naglers and Radians are made in Taiwan. Type 6 Naglers, Barlows, and Plossls are made in Japan. Not sure where the 4.8mm and 7mm Type 1's still being sold are made. Production did shift in part from Japan to Taiwan some years ago, so, for example, you might find a used 9mm Nagler made in Japan or Taiwan, depending on the vintage.
