Well, first off, i have a 1979 C8 Orangetube in great shape and i wanted to get a 2" for that extra sqeeze of light grasp, and a wider FoV. I purchased Orion's 2" Diagonal for the SCT's, and it doesn't thread onto my SCT. It goes for about one half turn, and stops. 
So, i retured it, now i've come across the Williams Optic diagonal. Will this thread onto my C8, or em i out for a long search, to find an Original 2" Celestron diagonal that came out back then???? Any help would be much appreciated !!
