I have a quality Swarovski spotter and the adapter to use 1.25" astro eyepieces. Does anyone know what kind of astro eyepiece would be optimal for this use? For example, I could get the best Televue Nagler, but would it look much better than a cheap Plossl? I don't know enough about it to figure out whether the wider field of view would be evident looking through the spotter. I am looking mostly for a wide field of view and sharp images, similar to what I'd get with the Swarovski proprietary eyepieces. The spotter specs are focal length of 460MM and a 65MM aperture. Thanks for any info.

I think any of the TV 1.25" eyepieces will work. Look at the Televue website and try the eyepiece calculator.
My question is will xxx eyepiece design come to focus with this scope? Try before you buy.
My concern is how will this scope work on bright moon and planets due to the terrestrial prism?
The SLC bino shows some faint ghost images on a bright moon. Other than that its perfect.
Good Luck
