Light Pollution Filter

I have a question about a light pollution filter for my telescope. If I'm using an Astrola eyepiece, can I use a TeleVue or Celestron filter for it? I guess I thought I had to use an Astrola filter with an Astrola eyepiece(?).

The threads for filters are pretty standardized. So unless Astrola has a proprietary thread, you should be fine (in the unlikely event that Astrola is proprietary I'd replace it with a standard 1.25 barrel eyepiece).
