I need some help in choosing my next (hopefully last) ep.
My main scope in a Discovery 8" f/6 Dob w/ 1219 fl.
Currently using a 24mm Pan at 50x as my finder/open cluster/large
bright object ep. Next up is a 7mm T6 nagler at 174x for
planetary/lunar on less than ideal nights and a 5mm T6 for 243x on
good nights.
Now I am looking for an ep that will do well at globs and planetary
nebs. I am thinking of either 9mm(135x) or 11mm(110x) T6's or 10mm(122x) or 12mm(100x)
Radians. I am located just outside Detroit and my skies are probably
around 4.5 on a decent night.
Any thoughts and maybe a few why's.
