New TMB Planetary Eyepieces have arrived

A number of years ago, I bought a 4mm Burgess/TMB Planetary eyepiece that I have really enjoyed. I noticed that a new line of these eyepieces have hit the shelves and was wondering if anyone knows how they have changed. Astronomics has a thorough description, but I am not sure I understand the changes. The obvious things are a black versus chrome shaft. It also appears that the eye relief may have been reduced a bit? Anyone know anything?

Apparently these have black barrels, some other cosmetic differences, but according to Astronomics they are not the new line, rather just fulfilling a year-long backlog of the old. This may be an oversimplification, but who knows? Maybe not even Astronomics. They often do, however, supply their own eye relief measurements, so again, not much about internal changes can be inferred from this. A prototype from the new line has been seen, however.
