Possible Nagler / WO Megrez 90 problem?

I received a new WO Megrez 90 last week ( my first refractor ). I have done two nights of testing with similar results. The eyepiece I am using is a Nagler 12T4. When doing visual work with the scope I am hoping to use this as my workhorse, as it will give me approx 50X at 1.5* FOV. This will be a nice complement to my 10" SCT. Results from testing last night on the Moon, Jupiter, and Vega. On the Moon, view shows a green tinge inside, at, and outside of focus. Jupiter and Vega showed blue/green on one side and red on the other. Out of focus Vega showed perfect round shape, but no shadow from my secondary ( LOL - my first refractor remember! ). I also tried running the EP straight through to eliminate possible diagonal problems, but was not able to achieve focus. I guess this will need some sort of extension when I get into AP. I was able to try a 12.4mm SP for a short time and it seemed to make things a bit better. Unfortunately the mount I'm using is quite unsteady ( borrowed EQ1 ). The picture shows my eventual setup, once I make up some weights to balance. I have not been able to do any deep sky yet, I'm assuming the color effects with the 12T4 will not be a problem on that. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks,
