Seibert lenses - disappointed

Purchased a 20mm plossl lense from Seibert. I should
have known - - by the price, I wasn't going to get
quality. Looking through it, it has this "tan/brown"
haze in the lense. Are they all like that????

I have a Seibert wide-angle eyepiece in a similiar focal length and a 7mm unit and I have experienced good visual performance with both eyepieces. Why don't you send your eyepiece back to Seibert and take advantage of his 30 day momey-back guarantee?

Mine have been very sharp, and with good contrast, I have a 21 and a 12.5, and certainly no tan haze. I would return it as it looks like there is something wrong.

Siebert doesn't make plossls. Are you sure it's from him? Call him and talk to him about the problem, he's been very easy to work with in the past. Sounds like you got a dud.
