Which erect image prism?

I've now tried both the Meade and Televue 45* erect image prisms and am totally unimpressed with either one. Actually, I wonder if they're not the same thing.

But anyway, does anybody have any input about a really good quality erect image prism or other correct image viewing device? Any actual experiences with the William Optics 1.25" prism?

I can't believe that such a simple thing as a prism, (something that's basic to binoculars and included in all spotting scopes) should be so tough to find for a lowly TV Ranger, but this is literally where the Ranger may fail to live up to it's potential. Got any input?

The 60 degree Tele Vue diagonal is an Everbrite mirror model. The image will be upright but reversed left-to-right.

Generally I think a 90 degree correct-image "Amici" prism is going to give better image quality than a 45 degree prism. Neither is ideal.

Rick, would you please post a review when you've had a chance to use that Baader. That's faaaaarrrr more than I'd hoped to spend, but I am curious.

For the time being, I'll probably order the 90* Amici erect prism from UO and see if I can live with it.

Anybody have experience with TV's direct through pancake porro?
