Garden Shed to Observatory Conversion

Hi,

Has anyone taken an ordinary garden shed and turned it into an observatory. I live in northeast Florida so I'm wondering about using a metal shed. I've found a few sites that show a completed picure but no follow ups or in depth directions. Sears sells all metal, vinyl and wood sides with metal roof sheds. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I seen a post, I think here(?), where someone was building an observitory out of a Rubber Maid shed. More or les a Plastic garden shed.

I was thinking of doing the same thing as you're thinking but then (I can't think of his name, Tom(?)) mentioned the PolyDome. To me it looks more like an observitory (looks cool then a garden shed does. And it may even be cheaper in the long run(?).
