This may sound kind of odd to some but im looking for ideas here.

I would like to build a playhouse for my child, i have plenty of room in the backyard so im thinking to myself...why not build an observatory section onto it as well (with a separate door of course).

My question is, has anyone seen anything like this done before? I need part of the roof to slide and part not to slide. Or a dome on my section or something?

Looking for any and all ideas....

Thanks for your help!

Dan
I would look to polystar here in this thread. A 8x10 playroom with a computer cabinet that can be locked with a agoining viewing dome. Should work out fine. A frend of mine has done just that for his kids and for himself at night. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi Dan,
My complete roof moves but I have a 6' warm/computer room that does have a ceiling. It could work for your idea. The pad is 12' x 18' and I have a 6' roof overhang to give it a porch look.
