I have a mid production 1961 Questar Maksutovs that may need the inside optical tube cleaned? I live in Salt Lake City and was wondering if there are any amateur astronomers in the area with experience cleaning them?

Would love any help we can get!

hi - most folks send Questars that have issues to Questar Corp in PA or Company 7 in MD for evaluation and service. what is the serial number of yours? what do you see that makes you think it needs attention? does it produce sharp images when you look through it? ernie spragg fresno ca
