I have 2 CG-5's and both have the same issue while slewing to objects. The RA and DEC portions of the mount head are covered in a bulbous plastic shroud that sometimes collide and throw off the alignment of the mount.
Is there a setting in the mount setup to avoid this issue or a modification that can be made to the hardware to solve this issue?
